In addition to grinding, I tried to cut a 20 mm rod with a bang, it copes with a bang - there is enough power. The only thing that annoys is the uneven noise, either a chirping, or a clanging in the gearbox and engine, and in time with this vibration, it feels like a Soviet grinder is working, and not a "proprietary" tool. I can recommend it as a universal angle grinder, except for concrete work.
