Film on digital - digital cameras

Well, here's an update. I like the camera but I'm looking for a new one! I'm tired of taking photos and trying to keep my hand perfectly still! Sometimes I can move the camera really fast and get a great sharp picture, other times when I stand still and the subject is barely moving I get a blurry picture! My sister-in-law also stopped using the same camera out of the same frustration! I did not pay the price advertised here! It costs less than $200. It's fun to play with all the manipulations on it, but you can only do them when they're in camera, and not even on the computer! The zoom is just ok, not as zoom as I would like. All in all it's ok, I want to get another one after almost 2 years of use! I would have kept it if I didn't have to delete so many blurry photos and could NOT take quick photos at that moment. I lose a lot of throwaway frames! I bought digital so I could have something much smaller than my Minolta film. In general, I think that digital technologies have their advantages and disadvantages. I also made many reviews before buying this camera and reviewed it many times. I don't see many of the problems others have. You can erase more than one image at a time, just go into grid mode, see if you want them all erased, and poof, they're gone. I didn't think anything of zooming out when turning the lens on, but sometimes I find my hand is in the wrong place when I'm pulling the lens. I'm getting used to not having a hand, that's all. I also have a hard time getting used to the cinema. Movie, one click NO BLUR. Digital images will get sharp and a bit blurry in the same photo, but that's not the camera's fault (digital stuff). The menu is so-so, but I've found that I have to search for a specific setting to go back to the previous setting. I have read the manual and played with it many times. It's just that sometimes you can get a location from one button but not another. Need a reset button :) You can also see the image after you create it. It has a 2 second setting. You can take multiple pictures at the same time. Minimal blur works well in burst mode. Basically, I like the camera. I took it out in the cold, the screen turns purple after a while, everything is fine after warming up. Even if you have a big screen, it's nothing like a viewfinder. So aim and shoot and it usually works what I wanted. A few of the photos I printed came out fine. I enjoy playing with it and all the effects it has :) Overall I really like the camera until I give up filming altogether. I believe almost anyone could use this camera. Especially in the light setting. Just aim and shoot. There is very little delay until you get into other settings. The battery lasts quite well. Again, I've never owned a digital camera before, but I'm happy :) READ the instructions on how to focus first and then take pictures and you will have no problem getting good pictures. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is because it's not as fast as my Minolta film!
