these are great sewing machine needles. I can't remember where I saw them recommended, but whoever recommended them was right. They are very versatile and significantly cheaper than buying Singer brand needles for my old sewing machine. I dug it out of the closet and decided to start machine sewing and in the 3 days I spent making a little stuffed animal I broke all 5 needles my grandmother had left. Now I'm sure I'll break many more in the future, but I'm very glad I have 100 needles, so I may not have to buy more for years to come (and for only $10!). They are deliciously flavorful, easy to cut, well packaged and delivered quickly. I hope they will be available for a long time.
