I sew a lot and I'm tired of having the ironing board up all the time. This mat fits on a closet and serves as a good press station for most projects I do. I have used it for a meter of fabric and for stamping patchwork blocks and finished strips. Magnets are not a problem if you are ironing on a table or cabinet.
