UPDATE: I have boys aged 6 and 4 and they ruined these bed bounces. The tread is unfortunately not the same as in the picture and has seams running down the middle on both sides of the tread. Once it starts tearing, it's a wrap! Throw it away! I put it on my bed about 3 days ago. So far, so good. It doesn't have that plasticky feel when you lie down, which is great. Seems strong enough. Please be careful when placing it on the mattress, although I pulled harder than intended a few times and felt it stretched the protector and could break it. I have a king and it fits perfectly. I had to pinch the seams when closing because again I felt like accidentally tearing the zipper or stretching/tearing the profile hole, but if you want to avoid all that except Kali-King for your standard king-size mattress.
