The stand has mostly fitted me perfectly. I drive a Ford Fiesta so I don't have much room on the dash to mount the bracket. The small size of this car was just a light weight to easily fit inside. I did have a few issues with it though, I think new buyers might want to know. At first it seemed to struggle a bit with the weight of my phone. I have a Galaxy S5 active so the phone is a little heavier than most, emphasis on heavy. This fastener seemed to struggle with this and would move too much if I didn't tighten it to the point where I couldn't move it to loosen. It's mostly just personal preference, but I don't like repeating things every few days. Tightened up well Secondly, the ball joint is a little flimsy, with a tightening like mine the plastic actually warped and twisted so it broke off. Mainly my fault, but it's still a weak point in the plastic to look out for. It will take a few months to sag and I will need to use the replacement adhesive pads that came with it. Maybe it's the weight of my phone, I thought. A normal smartphone might not have such a problem, but it kept loosening for me, mostly on the plastic side. It stuck well to my car's dashboard but came loose on the side that attached to the base of the mount. Most of these problems are related to weight. So unless you're using a heavier phone, you should be fine. with this stand.
