Good1. Easy to use.2. Felt strong.3. Back button focusing works.4. Work with third-party batteries.5. I did not notice the battery discharge.6. Matched coloring and texture with the camera. Bad1. The select button is very small and doesn't always work.2. Due to their smooth surface, strong pressure is required to turn the knobs.3. Doesn't fit your hand as well vertically as the camera does horizontally.4. Sometimes the camera gives an error and freezes. Even turning off the camera doesn't fix the error. Sometimes the camera takes a picture but then gives the error "This file cannot be displayed". Both cases occurred when a third-party battery was installed in both the camera and the grip. Other battery combinations (OEM + 3rd party etc.) have not been tested. The battery in the camera was fully charged and the battery in the grip was about 65% charged. I made sure the grip was securely attached to the camera. After detaching the grip and inserting the battery into the camera while in the grip, the errors no longer occurred.
