I bought a refurbished iMac on September 1st, 2018. This was a late 2013 version made by Apple Corp. was sold. in 2015. I wasn't aware of this when I bought it. iMac always started the operating system slowly. Very often it was necessary to reinstall the operating system. I've done this many times including wiping the HD with the help of Apple tech support. In the meantime (04/26/2019) the hard drive has been rinsed off. Square Trade Warranty, marketed as the best company in the world, didn't want to register my warranty plan to begin with and today they need my order number from Revain. So I have to go to the public library without a computer and look up my Revain account for an order number for the registrar from Her Majesty the Place who doesn't want to search their database for my last name and/or iMac serial number. . INCREDIBLE ERROR AND LACK OF SUPPORT. So what do I care about a broken iMac and a stubborn "world's best" warranty company?
