I usually buy mini easels from Hobby Lobby and they are always of excellent quality. However, the Hobby Lobby was sold out for several weeks just when I needed it for a commissioned project. So I tried these. None of these easels could stand alone unless carefully balanced, let alone supported by a mini canvas. In my hands, they dispersed easily, with almost no effort. The paint is also faded and cracked in some places. The only way to use them would be to glue them together, but then they wouldn't fold the way they're intended for easy storage. I returned these and bought similar frames from Michael instead. I would never include anything of this low quality with commission paid and I definitely wouldn't buy it again.
