The date and time display is a bit taller than I expected and a lot brighter than you suggest in your Q&A. I was hoping to plug the mirror into an outlet controlled by both a wall switch and Google Voice. While it technically works, every time you turn off the switch, the very bright date and time resets to 0, which is confusing and unappealing in a mirror designed for looks. The mirror itself isn't bright enough to be used as a makeup or shaving mirror, but it's attractive. I really like getting cold and warm white light. The mirror looks very nice. I just want the date and time to have its own little battery and be able to either turn it off or mute it.
