Review on πŸ”ͺ Dremel 618 Chamfer Router Bit: Precision Tool for Sharp Edges and Perfect Bevels by Tim Hull

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like it. The drum on the handpiece can cause.

I love these. The drum at the end can burn the material if you stay in one spot for too long, but hey! Let's be honest. This is an alternate use of the Dremel. This is not a normal router, so the warehouse is not needed. I've used this on PVC, wood, UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) plastic, PVC plastic, and Delrin Acetal plastic. Pro tip: When you're cutting plastic, it's WAAAAY more important to run it at high RPM, maintain a constant speed, and cut against the direction you're moving (ie, it shouldn't pull in the direction you're moving move). . With that in mind, I've made some AMAZING UHMW cutting boards big enough for sea fish.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Very expensive
