Review on 🚰 Lixada Water Bottle Tube Replacement Kit for Hydration Bladder Reservoir Pack by Darryl Jennings

Disappointed with hydration packs

This adapter does not work at all as expected. The whistle makes the water taste TERRIBLE. It's like drinking out of a tire. The bite valve is awkward and difficult to activate, and the on-off valve twists too easily so it pops open and locks itself when you try to drink from it. The cap area has no pressure valve to prevent vacuum inside the bottle. Suction builds up quickly and it's very difficult to pull anything out. I had to unscrew the top a bit to let air in so the water could flow out, making this impractical when you need to lean forward like you're on a bike. (The cap doesn't have a rotating collar, so you have to twist the bottle to tighten or loosen the cap, which is very annoying. So you can't easily remove or replace the cap when the bottle is in your pocket.) I tries to blow air through the hose into the bottle, but the hose fills with air but the bottle doesn't. So the next sip is just air. I had no idea how much gravity helps when using traditional bubbles. The straw lies at the bottom and the water is squeezed out. There is no such thing in this system. I've tried taking out the inner straw and turning the bottle upside down, but the tubing is too flexible and instead of flexing, it shrinks. Also, it wasn't long enough to reach the bottom of a water bottle bag. I tried to combine this set with other bladder system parts to solve some problems but all sizes were different. tube and an inner straw that slides into the tube. There was no indication and the inner straw was pushed all the way into the tube so I couldn't see it and thought it was missing. This straw makes the set adjustable for different height bottles; You simply pull it out further or push it back in to reach the desired height. It tends to reach a perfectly flat bottom even if I trim it down. It should probably be cut at an angle or in a V-shape to avoid this.
