Review on EPAuto CF10134 Premium Filter Activated by Victor Glatzel

MY CARS. I have 2 cars so I ordered 2 of them. One was for Rav4 and the other for Lexus. NUMBER OF FOLDS. The number of folds (wrinkles) is much less than shown in the picture. This is important as more pleats mean more air is filtered. Of course, the manufacturer prefers smaller pleats because that means less material and therefore lower costs. The number of folds I received was 13. The number of folds in the picture is 19. QUALITY. This filter contains baking soda and activated carbon. There are no other filters at Revain so this is a huge bonus, especially when this filter costs a lot less than everything else. AIRFLOW. The only other major issue I can foresee is airflow. Despite having fewer creases, this filter is quite thick due to the activated charcoal and baking soda. When comparing this air filter to another brand, the airflow from the air conditioner vents seems less, but adequate. I said in a previous post that one of the filters doesn't fit my Rav4. Found out the fault was on my machine. Found that no filter fits this car. The shape of the interior of the car is curved. On the other hand, I found small differences in the filter sizes. Measurements differ by 1/8 inch. This is very important as these filters do not provide a complete seal as the air will flow through the hole with the least resistance. DIPLOMA. The number of pleats is a little important to me, but not enough to put me off buying a more expensive filter. I would rather buy filters more often because all filters get dirty pretty quickly from the outside air (depending on where you live). I recommend you to buy this filter because of the rather attractive price of $9. It still contains charcoal so I'm pretty sure it filters just as well as OEM and other filters.
