I usually use a 32 ounce bottle that I keep on my desk for afternoon water. I've tried several other straw bottles and never found one that worked for me. After trying this one, I'm still looking for it. Don't get me wrong - it's a nice bottle, attractive design, roomy enough, easy to carry and definitely leak proof. But drinking from it is not the most pleasant experience. Somewhere, either in the connection of the straw, or in the way the "nipple" sits on the opening of the straw holder, air is escaping, so when sucking not only the liquid (hooray!), but also the air (oh-oh- Oh). This makes for a noisy experience and plenty of air gulp. Not exactly a pleasant experience. I tried different ways of positioning the pacifier - the design is very nice by the way - it folds up and closes with a lid. But I can't find a position that results in a tight fit on the straw. It's a shame because I really like the look of it. I may have gotten "unsuccessfully", but at least one other reviewer pointed out a similar issue. In the meantime, I'm sticking with my choice of 32-ounce strawless bottles. Overall - OK, not terrible, but nothing I would continue to use except in an emergency.
