Perfect for my 6 year old. She is 47 inches tall and it fits her just like I expected. I wish it was a little longer to go with the paid for capri leggings and it was perfect. It wasn't long enough that it didn't seem to fit her or looked baggy on her. The shirt wasn't rough. I would say it's like a regular t-shirt you buy in a store. I hung it up after opening to get rid of the creases. I've washed it twice and the letters are the same as they were when we first got it.
