I have previously purchased a Summit Racing battery holder. It worked fine but interfered with radio reception in my house when connected to the network. I saw that it had an FCC tag, so I thought maybe it was "clean" and secluded. Turns out it's at least as bad, if not worse, than the Summit Racing unit. It charges the battery but I can't keep it on or it makes noise on every radio in my house. Also, the 12V wiring is very thin compared to the Summit Racing model. Honestly, I'm not happy with either one because of the interference problem. I guess if you only listened to FM radio you wouldn't mind, but it's terrible for AM and shortwave (including amateur) radio. For me that is not acceptable.
