Review on 💡 Dorcy 40-Lumen Replacement (4/5/6 Volt) Light Bulb – Model 41-1644 by Shane Jess

This light is quite bright but will not work with bike dynamo (Busch & Müller Lumotec N). Native halogen burned out. This LED bulb has the same voltage and form factor (6V HS3). It fits and gives off a bright white light, but dims and turns off within minutes. The lightbulb was hot. It cooled and started working again, but overheated again. This lamp is more suitable for direct current. I am giving it four stars though as it will probably work great in a flashlight. Update: If you have the patience and are willing to spend a few bucks more, you can fit a bridge rectifier to avoid burn out and provide a more even light. It was easier for me to just buy a krypton lightbulb, also from Dorsey. It was the same brightness as the LED. You may need to shave the inside of the lamp socket to fit the krypton lamp.
