Excellent quality wire. The conductors are woven rather than just straight strands and the sheathing is thick and fits snugly around the conductor. I used this cable to replace some of the flimsy loose wires I got with some old speakers when I got new speakers. My new speakers are more powerful and I was concerned that the old wire was too thin. The cable is thicker but still very flexible and works great. As mentioned, this is an aluminum wire so no soldering is required. I don't really care, but if you'd rather use soldered terminators, or prefer to tin your bare wire ends, look around and look elsewhere. If you are looking for a quality and cheap speaker cable, you can stop looking and buy this stuff. If you're one of those people who thinks electric current flows better through cables washed with unicorn tears, spend more money elsewhere.
