Samsung, one of the biggest names in electronics, doesn't seem to understand the inconvenience of many of their models having stands that can't be removed (or at least aren't designed to be). This is the second Samsung monitor I've bought and I assumed it would have a detachable base like ANY other manufacturer and I ended up sawing it off so I could wall mount it. What an absolute joke. The flat part is removed from the stem, but only for ease of packaging and to save storage space. The complete stand is not designed to be removed and therefore cannot be flush mounted. I mean adding, I don't know, screws or latches
