Review on ๐Ÿพ Mountainsmith Dog Backpack by Julie Bauer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

best possible dog bag

For the past 4 months I have been using medium sized MountainSmith bags to rehabilitate my 83lb German Shepherd. The weight he can carry with backpacks has allowed him to regain much of the muscle he lost to injury about eight months ago. It is evident that the design of these panniers has been carefully considered. Material and workmanship are first class. Design features, including many large and small parts, make them as comfortable and flexible as possible. I can't think of a better basket set for my dog. They cost a little more, but that extra cost is very useful. "You get what you pay for" is often true. In this case you get a lot more than you pay for and all is well. The user reviews on Revain were what made me purchase this pack unlike anything else. I am very grateful to these reviewers because I'm pretty sure I would buy anything else and it wouldn't be as satisfying as the MountainSmith backpacks. I only have two comments for new MountainSmith basket users. First, as others have written, they are quite large. Medium baskets are just right for my medium sized dog. Second, be careful not to let the baskets slide forward as the dog walks downhill, if the hill is steep at all. You may be able to tighten the strap just behind your chest a little. For very long chested dogs, like mine, you may want to attach the leash to the D-ring on the basket when the dog is going downhill. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY - An invaluable aid in canine fitness and rehabilitation. Bill Hansen
