Covid has changed most people's lives badly and for the worse. Probably more for children. They can no longer go to school and play with their friends. To cheer up our kids, we bought this LED strip to decorate our home. Yes, that's right. The bright and colorful LEDs can be adjusted with the remote control. By default it changes color automatically (maybe every 2-3 seconds) with at least 10 different colors. You can also set the desired color manually by adjusting the ratio of red, green and blue with the remote control. The strip is flexible, you can make a strip of any shape. However, you may need to pay a little more attention to the corner area if you need to create a 90 degree corner (it's a flat strip, not a line, so it's not flat in this situation). The back of the strip (so the other side of the LED) is covered with 3M glue. Once you peel off the protective backing, you can attach the strip to a wall or other surface. The two lessons I want to share here are: 1) Make sure you clean the surface first, otherwise all that's left is dust; 2) You can only stick it once---Try modeling the shape with regular sticky tape first, and stick it on the surface permanently once you decide you like it. Installation was easy but to be honest the instructions didn't help at all. The power supply end is divided into three separate wires: one for the IR (i.e. remote control), two for each received strip. While there is an arrow at the end of the power supply to indicate the correct way to insert the strip, there is no corresponding arrow at the end of the strip (at least I couldn't find it). If you are in the same situation, don't worry, just give it a try. There are four pins on one end of the strip that you use to connect the power supply. Nothing happened the first time. So I pulled the strip out, changed the contacts (rotated the strip 180 degrees) and the strip caught fire - beautiful colors. I received two strips in a box. Important note: you cannot chain two strips in a row to get a very long strip. These two strips need to be connected to a power source, or in other words, the power plug needs to be somewhere in the middle of the decoration. Or you can use just one track. Works fine in my hands. To use the remote control, you must remove the plastic cover from the battery compartment. At least from what I've found so far, you can only control the light with the remote control. So don't waste it. So far my kids are very happy with the lights.
