That saves lives! I know a lot of the reviews are hard to believe, they seem either wrong or too long. So I'll try to be brief. I work in a factory where we make car parts. They do an excellent job of blocking out loud noises while still allowing you to hear enough to be aware of your surroundings while the music is playing at a moderate volume. The little creases get dirty easily, I have to clean mine daily as metal shavings get stuck in them, but they are perfect and worth every penny. Ps: Wearing headphones of any kind is not allowed in our factory, but they look like earplugs when you put them in the back of your shirt in the back pocket
