On my 2003 Pontiac Grand Am, although it matched the OEM car wiring harness, some wires did not provide enough power or were left out, resulting in my secondary radio having no power or turning on sometimes after a minute of being away. My radio is a BOSS Audio BVB9358RC which everyone says doesn't work with BOSS brand radios etc. Yes it will work but you need to know the wiring - your car radio wires, harness and radio. wires. Only doorbells and radio dimming are missing (I want it 100%, I don't care about dimming). This is what I did for MY CAR 2003 PONTIAC GRAND AM, connect two red wires, connect the orange wire to them and also use the red wire that comes in the kit to connect the red wire/orange wire connector to the connect the alarm connector (pink wire). . The pink wire is not on the wiring harness, it is on the vehicle's alarm wiring harness, which is located next to the vehicle's stock radio wiring harness. This is a quick fix. This works because the Grand Am radio's ignition wire (red) does not have enough voltage to turn on/turn on the radio. But adding a 12 volt connection from the emergency lights works great. So there are: 3 red - red aftermarket wiring harnesses (this product), radio red (different from radio) and additional red wire that is included (this product) 1 orange-orange wire from aftermarket wiring harness (this product) 1 pink one Wire that powers the Grand Am's emergency lighting - adjacent to the ORIGINAL vehicle wiring harness. together - you should now have 1 red wire dangling from the open end, connect this end to the pink wire on the alarm. Tighten your connections and make sure there are no open ends, i.e. no shorts. electrical tape, heat shrink tubing, etc. (I used a ton of duct tape)
