I was watching NFL preseason practice and everyone was complaining about how hot it was. One analyst's hair was fluttering and she thought it was a nice breeze. You switch to another analyst and sweat drips from her. A woman with flowing hair spoke about her fan around her neck and how necessary it was. Since my girls are down south in college and I work here in Ohio, I decided to give it a try. WOW! The best product! My guess is that the original ones were just fans with round blades and people with long hair got stuck in the fans. These bladeless designs solved the problem. Battery life is around 4 hours on the highest settings, up to 21 hours on the lowest settings. The neck design sits very well on your shoulders compared to other brands. Very light weight and they are flexible/formable around the neck. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The only thing that can be used is a battery upgrade to prevent overcharging. You just need to make sure you turn it off when charging is complete (the lights will stop flashing) to minimize the chance of overcharging reducing battery life.
