I bought this umbrella in September, and it worked pretty well up until it broke yesterday. I was closing the umbrella to go inside my apartment, and one or two of the rib connections snapped. Also, the material was not perfectly water resistant. Water would soak through and get the floor wet when I set the umbrella down. Over time, the material came untied from the ribs, so the closed umbrella became a mess of wrinkled, wet fabric that I had to manually arrange in order to wrap up the umbrella with the velcro strap, getting my hand all wet in the process.
