I am a nurse and have been using this on patients for years. It's thick, so it takes a little longer to apply, but the moisture stays on the skin. Just take your time, spread it on your hands and work gently where you need it. Due to a medication I recently had to take and its drying side effect, I found a use for it myself. It helped deal with the dryness of the skin caused by the drug. No other lotion, even a high-end moisturizer, couldn't compete. Highly recommended. In addition, no smell, no nonsense, which is very useful.
