Very Overpriced - Inflatable Garden Ornaments

When I started $40 8ft inflatables 20 years ago, they held at least 15 Christmases. Now they sell these lower quality inflatables for over $100 and only last five Christmases. It costs $20/year versus $2.50/year for the older models, which are better equipped with a full-size four-legged motor. These new ones have tiny motors that just can't take it. For example, I have a 2004 8ft Grinch that has outlasted my neighbor's 8ft Grinch that he bought in 2016 for more than double the price. Now it's half the price. My advice. Don't buy these newer, more expensive, lower quality inflatables. I know that with normal inflation, an inflatable boat from $5/ft 15-20 years ago would cost about $7-8/ft today. Anything over $55-65 for an 8 foot inflatable is just too much. Also, look for ones that have a full-fledged motor on a stand.
