A few months after the birth of my son, I felt that my thumb was very stretched. I had pain just below my thumb knuckle every time I tried to pick it up or pull my thumb out of my hand (e.g. when opening a pair of scissors). I wore the standard pharmacy arm bandage for several months with little improvement. In fact, the pain got worse. So! A few days after trying this brace, my pain was greatly reduced and my thumb strength and mobility improved. In addition, this orthosis does not prevent me from lifting or lulling my son. I only wish I had found it sooner.
