I bought a pair of these to keep in my work bag as a backup for constantly draining flashlight batteries. I am very happy. They are light. This is a plus and a minus as they are quite strong but I could see the clip eventually breaking. The tube itself seems more than strong enough to withstand falls or even kicks. The hose has a clip to attach it to a collar, for example. There is also a hole for attaching a lanyard. They are easy to put on. My 4 year old daughter did this with her eyes closed, from opening the tube with the SnapLight stored inside to assembling it. I tested my light with Cyalume SnapLight Industrial Lights from Cyalume Technologies and they fit perfectly (as you would expect from the same manufacturer). x 2mm), or gradually open to reveal about 1/3 of the SnapLight when fully open. This is great as you can see with a glow stick without being blinded by the light. Light comes from you without illuminating you. Overall I would highly recommend them to anyone using SnapLights for work or camping.
