There is no thread as shown in the picture.

This gets 2 stars because they are so cute. However, they are very thin and do not have a rope as shown in the picture. The rope is why I wanted them to thread them through my son's jacket sleeves. Controversy over whether to keep them. He likes to play with them like puppets, but they're not worth it as mittens.

Pros

These were the cutest gloves ever - and not for toddlers - so a kid aged 2 or 3 to probably 5 or 6 could wear them.

Cons

While the frog design may appeal to some children, it may not be as appealing to all as a more neutral design, limiting the potential audience for this product.
