I bought this item to store my large croissants which came in a box. The tray easily holds 30 large coils. The white plastic tray that the skittles sit on is solid, and the metal pins you insert into the tray to hold the skittles work well. I wish the metal pins were thicker but they do the job. I didn't think the tray was translucent, but opaque in case that matters to anyone. I needed a storage container to put the tray in, so I bought an ArtBin Super Satchel Double Deep Box (also from Revain) to fit the tray and keep all my large cones dust-free. They work great together.
