Review on πŸ”Œ Fintie Keyboard Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 10.5" 2019 - Slim Cover with Detachable Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard, Black" by Greg Horn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Inferior in some features to the official Samsung keyboard/case, but somehow better

This case and keyboard combine differently than the official Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 case and keyboard. The Samsung case consists of two parts. One attaches to the back of the tablet with a sticky rubber ring at the top and magnets at the bottom. The edge of the tablet is then inserted into a groove on the edge of the other piece, where it is held in place by magnets and makes electrical contact with the keyboard built into the second piece. When you fold the case up, the magnets seem to hold everything together. In contrast, the Fintie Keyboard Case has a plastic lip on the back that the tablet fits snugly and securely into - much more securely than the official Samsung case. And part of the cover is one unit, and the other half wraps around the tablet and secures with a clasp. It really does feel like it's held together more securely than a Samsung case. However, the keyboard is a separate part that has nothing to do with the body. It just sits on top of the case, although it doesn't feel like it's slipping or anything. And Bluetooth connectivity that works flawlessly with the tablet. Both tablets can be placed on the stand for viewing, but the Fintie again feels more secure and stable when mounted with the stand in this way. Well, in many ways I like the Finty case better. However, the Samsung case has a mouse pad that the Fintie keyboard doesn't have, and it can work with the Samsung Dex, which is pretty cool. Finally, Fintie costs 1/6 the price of Samsung, which is a significant savings.
