Desk Essential

I've been using this rug for about 3 weeks and it's great. I used my desk for about a week without this mat and was blown away by the difference this mat makes. I can now stand all day without leg/foot/back pain. Many other people in my office have donated a Veridesk rug and this rug is fine and is less than $10.

Dangerous beveled edges that completely destroy the comfort and convenience of standing

These mats have smooth dangerous beveled edges that completely destroy the comfort and convenience of standing. I slip almost every time I step on or step off one of the two I bought for the kitchen. I'm afraid of slipping while carrying boiling water or a knife. The depreciation factor is not worth the risk! The manufacturer has to go back to the drawing board of this design. I hate leaving negative reviews but I don't want anyone to get hurt.

Beautiful rug once you get rid of the slippery surface and toxic fumes

I almost sent it back. When I first got it everything was slippery with a strong smelling stuff. Since I sit part of the day and stand the rest of the day, every time I moved the mat it left a slippery substance on the floor which was very dangerous and stayed on my shoes. I ended up taking it outside and letting it air out for a day, then washing it three times with soap and water. Standing on an anti-fatigue rug is important, but make sure you have time to clean and prep it before bringing it

A must have for a standing desk
