True. The instructions are a little strange, but once you figure it out. goes pretty fast. Works perfectly! I don't drive the screws on the bottom support, so the base and top separate very quickly for transport. Very durable, holds a 55" Vizio. Edit: 2021 and they're still running. I've upgraded TVs to 70 inches (both Samsung and LG) and while it beats the rating, it handled them well outdoors in light winds and retired to the stage. I've added a few photos to show.
