I've been using various Bluetooth sports headsets since 2008 and my first was the Motorola S9. Lots of options now and I've recently used a cheaper brand (£15) and the sounds were ok but it only took 8 months for it to stop working on one side so I went with the mid range version, the Sony MDR-XB50BS and here is the summary: Connectivity (9/10) No problem here, my phone recognized the device and connected straight away. I found NFC very useful, just tap the back of your phone and the headset connects instantly (no need to manually enable Bluetooth on your phone, NFC does it for you). Sound Quality (8/10) I found the sound quality to be excellent, with deep bass without being overwhelming. It blocks outside noise (junk music from the gym) very well, so you don't have to crank the volume up to the max. Accessories (6/10) There are several ear tips and various bow supports to hold this position. The sizing of the earcups and headband was determined by trial and error, but once you've fitted the earbuds correctly they sit in a secure position and won't fall off during a workout. Please note: there is no carrying case included. Ergonomics (6/10) The headset is light but quite large. I would have preferred a minimalist design, but that's acceptable. I've had no problems using it for strength training or cardio sessions, the item stays in place and glows. Battery Life - (7/10) I charged it twice a week as a precaution, but it should have only been left on. on the safe side, because there's nothing worse than draining your headset in the middle of a workout. So far there are no problems. Update 02/14/2017: I can use this one week for a full charge, which is enough for me. I use this mostly at the gym, so about 6 workouts a week, each lasting 45 minutes to an hour. A full charge takes just over 2 hours. Build Quality (3/10) I was not impressed with the build quality - the casting is not precise and uneven surfaces are visible. The power button fell off after a week of use. I can still use it and thought I could live with it, but for a mid-range headset (from Sony) I would expect better build quality. All in all this is a good kit; albeit disappointed with the poor build quality that reduced a 5 star product to 3 stars.
