I bought this pump because I needed a bigger pump and didn't have the extra money. It doesn't serve my purpose. I needed 800-900 gph so I bought the 60 watt version. Happy to squeeze out 300-400 gph. My current 16,400 GPH pump that I use for water changes is more powerful than this. I'll keep it as a spare I think because it only really works if your cannon buys it, buy more than you need.
