I was looking for a good natural deodorant that actually works without baking soda and this is the first deodorant that does the job. The rose scent is my favorite, it's not too strong and blends with your natural scent throughout the day and comes out almost like a fresh powder. I live in Los Angeles where the weather is warm to hot year round so I would recommend applying some after a shower and applying a second coat just before leaving the house or deciding to exercise. One layer works if you don't sweat a lot, which I don't, so a second layer is necessary. A lot of natural deodorants say "apply when needed" and I've done that in the past, but it hasn't usually worked for me. However, this deodorant does just that. Most of the beauty products I use are cruelty free and/or vegan, unfortunately this deodorant is not one of them as it contains beeswax. However, I made an exception because it really works! It's also really long, I bought my first one in early June and ordered the second one in mid-October. My only complaint is that on my second order I decided to use the rose scent again and when I received it; It was labeled rose but when I opened it it smelled like jasmine. The jasmine scent is pleasant, but too light for me personally, and since I had some rose left over, I definitely preferred the rose scent to jasmine. So I send back the mislabeled one and order another rose scent, when it arrives it smells like jasmine too! I was so disappointed. So I contacted the company and let them know what happened and I just want to say their customer service is great! They responded within a day or two of my email and offered to send me a rose for free. I agree and just received it a few days ago and suddenly they also sent a sample of lavender scent. I'm not a big fan of lavender per se but I'm very grateful for this little bonus and I've been trying it all weekend, it works great! However, the rose scent they smell still smells like their jasmine scent, despite being labeled 'Rose' like the previous roses I've ordered! Not sure if this is a mislabeled batch or if they changed the formula of the rose scent but it's definitely not what I ordered in June. I still have some left over from my June order and the ones I recently paid for plus what they sent me don't smell like they used to. Needless to say I am upset and disappointed BUT despite a complaint about the jasmine scented rose scent their products work great! I haven't had any bad reactions to them and their customer service is above average. My rating would be a full 5 stars without this accident.
