Too big for narrow necks

My husband and I are both teachers. As teachers we are exposed to Covid on a daily basis. Many teachers at my school bought this type of face shield and I wanted to try it. I'm 5'4 and weigh about 120 pounds. This face shield is very big for my neck, it's more like a necklace for my neck and I can't return it because you have to remove the plastic shield before you can assemble it. I also bought for my husband. He didn't like it. He feels the protective mask is too close to his nose. Needless to say, he has a big nose. They look pretty sturdy and comfortable, but if you have a narrow neck like me I wouldn't recommend it.
