We have mini dachshunds and in the past we have a lot of experience treating health problems with so-called premium foods. We had 2 little dachshunds that we fed pedigree for many years and by middle age both had blood tests showing liver and kidney problems. We looked for the source of the toxins and eventually found the source to be their "premium" dog food. After so many years, both dogs developed Cushing's disease and required very expensive medication. Living in Europe at the time, we switched to homemade formula for their meals. When we got back to the States we found Addiction and have been using it ever since. Even after losing our first two dogs and adopting rescue dogs, we continue to use the addiction. They all loved it. And it's safe and doesn't cause the problems we've seen with junk-filled supermarket products. I'm just sorry we had to learn this the hard way and our pets suffered from our misplaced trust.
