I have a DC33, everything went well, a tool is a must. Here's the problem! Do you need a special tool, a lot of time and endless patience just to change the vacuum belt? Of course, one isn't entirely sure if it's a belt or a clutch, as the rear belt isn't visible. I managed to fix mine and even figure out where the rest went. mine is corrected, i feel responsible to pass on some advice; 1. Send your spouse and children to the cinema so they don't witness your inevitable breakdown (it's better to make a double film out of it).2. Close all the windows and ask Alexa to turn up the music so your neighbors can't hear you freaking out about the vacuum cleaner. Start working on a face-saving excuse as to why the Dyson can't be repaired (burned out motor, not worth repairing, etc.) 4. If you're frustrated, DO NOT smash your Dyson into small pieces. Remember you don't have a working vacuum cleaner to clean up the mess! When watching instructional videos, remember that this is all CGI and no human can do the job that quickly. The only tools you'll need aside from the ones provided are a Torx T15 screwdriver and a pair of Gray Goose screwdrivers. That's it, good luck!
