Front and back of this bag CAN be in leather; The handles, sides and bottom are definitely leather, NOT leather. This bag is very similar to the one I had over 40 years ago, it was 100% leather - you could smell it and see it was leather and had no lining. This bag is lined with crinkle fabric so you can't tell if the front and back are real leather. I'm only keeping it because of the cheap price of $24.99. Now it costs $29.99.
