Review on 📷 Netatmo NSC01US - WiFi Enabled Wireless Indoor Security Camera with Movement Detection by Wayne Flores

I originally wrote the review below but instead of sending it back I took it to the UK where I also live. It worked right away, no problem. So I canceled my return. I'm still disappointed that it didn't work in the US, but I assume it has something to do with my wifi there. It's a shame ORIGINAL REVIEW: Unfortunately I had to send it back. It's a shame; someone else in the family has an open one that works great. But after spending at least 5 hours wasting the best part of today, I had to give up. It just won't connect to my wifi. I went through many, many troubleshooting steps, did everything suggested in the PDF manual, looked at the Netatmo website on the internet and finally just had to give up. I suspect that either a) this particular phone was defective or b) any distance rules to WiFi, other devices such as cordless phones, smart TVs, etc. are too strict for my use. I wanted him to "monitor" the most vulnerable front doors to my house. The only vantage point I could put would be more than 3 meters from the router. And the router is behind the glass door of the closet - but nothing else is connected to it. I suspect a third problem is possible - the router is configured for 5G and 2.4G. I suppose maybe the mere presence of 5G confused him, but that's not going to work for me if that's the case. And everything seemed so easy at first.
