I have used this gun on several projects and each time I love it more and more. I've found that about 27 pounds of air pressure (at the gun inlet, not the cap pressure) gives the best results with most automotive basecoats and clearcoats. It also seems easy to clean, which is a big plus when you're applying epoxies and 2-part urethanes. Overall good value for money.

I bought this gun to use on my truck rims as my big gun didn't work. I was wondering how that would work for the price. He worked pretty well. The cup liner swells up a bit and may come out of the groove, but that could be due to the thinner I used, and particularly the nail polish thinner I used to clean. This isn't a professional pistol, but it works pretty well.

I broke my 30 year old gun (worked great) and bought this as a replacement. Is it the same EXCEPT I couldn't seal the canister? As if your arms are too long? Well I measured the gun and the new gun is exactly 0.1 inch longer than the original. Just enough to get minimal contact but no sealing. I was able to swap parts and get a working gun. Bought.

I thought it wasn't very good for the price. I was right, it's not. Uneven paint pickup resulting in spatter. I tried a direct transmission (thinner is not possible) no. Thought the vent was too small and tried to drain straight out of the blender cup. Again no, I finally solved the problem when I sent it back to Amazon. I rebuilt my 30 year old Binks 115 and got back to work.

Great gun for learning how to spray paint. This is the third gun of this type that I have bought. Eventually they clog up so much with dried paint that I have to throw them out. The previous gun fell off the rack when I put it down during a spray session. The attached air hose makes the assembly a bit heavy and it was taken off the rack and fell on the floor breaking the paint cup. The new model is the same as the old one and works very well. Well made and inexpensive.

It worked but didn't have enough power to draw on the scale we needed. We tried to paint the inside of the barn, this product is more suitable if you want to paint something small, like maybe a lawn chair or flower pot? I think we expected too much from a product at this price point. It also took a long time to actually spray, even though we followed the assembly instructions exactly. Wouldn't buy this again.

I really like these guns, even for heavier materials like durable outer latex plus primer (not thinner). I ordered this to replace a ten year old (plus) old one with a broken case. I foolishly put it on the edge of a table and then moved the pressure line, a 2ft drop cracked the cast iron but it bonded perfectly (after a few tries/layers) so replacing it is just insurance. I would give 5 stars but the build quality and materials are inferior to the old one and the case is too fragile.

So far, so good. I've only used it once to paint a wooden table and chairs with latex enamel paint. I diluted according to the instructions, but should have used a little more. This was the first attempt, it took some time to adjust the pressure/volume but all went well until the last layer.
