Review on πŸ“± JunDa Car Phone Mount: 360 Rotation Dashboard Cell Phone Holder for 4-7 inch Smartphones by Rob Allen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty good product but a few improvements would have been nice. . .

In general, this product is good for the price. . . I tested it on my Jeep with an LG Envy and my daughter used it on her new iPhone in her Focus. She was kind enough to check it out as it didn't work for me (see below). Here's what I found: PROS: β€’ VERY solid. My daughter hit two or three BIG potholes in the road (see video). This thing was NOT moving. The clips are DURABLE β€’ The clips that hold the phone are designed so they don't press any of the side buttons - doesn't seem like a big deal but wait until you put your phone in the dash mount and the Bluetooth receiver will play music until 20 You'll appreciate that little detail β€’ My daughter LOVED the ability to rotate the phone in any direction and angle she wanted. was too big for the collars. If I took my phone out of the case it would work fine, but I don't want to do that every time I use it. β€’ If you have a pop socket on your phone, it will not work. The brackets that hold the phone are WAY too short and not adjustable (I couldn't use them on my phone for the same reason). β€’ I also couldn't find a place to mount/clamp in my Wrangler. Dashboard corners were too flat (a Jeep design issue, NOT a product!). You can double check the place you want to install it to make sure it has enough dash to hang. I would give it 5 stars but the inability to use the pop socket mount is a big problem - everyone seems to have it these days. I would also request that the hand clips that hold the phone be a bit longer to accommodate not-so-new phones.

Pros
  • Wide Compatibility: Designed with a spring buckle that can be adjusted to fit 4-7 inch mobile phones.
Cons
  • Not as thick as others
