Review on RUXIFEY 3rd Brake Light Gasket Seal for Ford F150 2009-2014 High Mount Stop Lamp Assembly by Mikey Shook
Didn't fix my leak - but not the gasket's fault.
This seal is made of high quality material. It's more than enough thick, dense and strong. It slowed my flow. I knew the gasket wasn't a problem, so I took a closer look at my headlight. My truck is black '05 so the black color makes the cabin very hot. The factory headlight is long and only has 2 screws on the ends. My brake light assembly was deformed. It was bent in the middle - enough to require sealant and I didn't want to go that route. So I bought a Revain Ford brake light and he fixed my leak.
- CAUTION: The 0.2" (5mm) thick foam pad will leave a gap of approximately 1/8" on the outside between the edge of the case and the vehicle body when installed, but this will not affect the watertightness to protect the inside. Please make sure you understand and accept this design before ordering.
