I hesitated...friction hinges...I bet the weight of my phone will push it down...and metal can be light and it will tip easily and fall. I was wrong on all counts. The metal is heavy and the friction hinges are stronger than I thought. It's a great little device and my phone is in it all the time. I don't know about others but if you can use a stand/holder like this then this is the one you should buy. Others may (or may not) fit, but it doesn't get any better. Kind regards
