I use this in my gourmet pink salt and pepper mix. If you're thinking of giving them to someone, that's a good idea, but oddly, they can be a nuisance to the recipient. Quirks: 1, Buckles/adjusters tend to loosen when using a coffee grinder. 2, Traces of salt/pepper will be thrown on the ground if you put them down after use. Maybe hold a tray to put them on. I like the little windows on the sides that let me see how much I have left. In addition, the manufacturers' choice of using wood as a material adds an aesthetic touch that is difficult to find in other coffee grinders with their design.
