Review on Spot SPOT TRACE 01 Trace Orange Small by Mark Powell

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Classic bait and switch scam. I paid $100 for tracking and $100 for the first year of service and 11 months later the price went up to $164! If it were a perfect device I'd consider it an astronomical leap, but to be honest it's pretty bad at best. Just search for the app in the App Store and check out the reviews for more reviews. I'll give you a hint, they're terrible. The tracker works, but it uses batteries like no other (even with Energizer Lithium batteries). I'm getting about 3 months in 5 minute increments which is far from what they claim. Replacing the batteries is also cumbersome, as you need a glasses-sized screwdriver and keep track of the 4 microscopic black screws that hold the back in place. There are plenty of other options, especially once you start looking into the new price of their service. Thanks for nothing SPOT.
