Review on Dorman 99369 Keyless Remote Button by Victor Pinckney

The company advertises how easy it is to program a new key but after I read the instructions 4-5 times I ended up one day at the point where the button should be programmed but wasn't. The instructions do not give you any guidance as to which step to start over if the "5 minute" process fails. I worked with a technician but they just told me that after a few tries the machine locked up. Long story short, I pay a 60 mile tow to an exorbitant Nissan dealership to have the old key reprogrammed (because it broke during setup) and a new key at dealer prices. I thought the product looked great, but like so many other things, it's too good to be true.
