First I have to say I read the reviews on it before ordering but with Prime I was willing to take the risk knowing I could get my money back and time was up was the question. beings. With that in mind, I'd like to address some of the reviews I've seen here, but understand that my experience is limited to the product I received. Bad Smell Ratings: Yes, the pipe smells. This is to be expected from this type of pipe and no more harmful than regular pipes of this type which you can get from places like Lowes, Home Depot, Tractor Supply etc. Yes, you can get better quality tubes. It's made of different materials that are odorless, but that's up to you. I assembled, handled and operated the kit for a full ten minutes, dusted off the computer and my hands don't smell like pipes at all. While it didn't arrive in the same packaging as some of the photos I've seen in older reviews, it wasn't melted down by any means. This is probably due to improper handling and extreme temperatures in storage or during shipment. Poor Design/Poor Suction: This is a two-part problem I want to solve. First, there were complaints about the poor design and the way they changed the connector to "fix" the suction. ALL READING THIS, please be aware that these are the holes in the port adapter that connect the gap between the micro-jets and the main vacuum hose. These holes are there for a reason. A vacuum cleaner needs airflow to work properly and while preventing this you will certainly improve the suction power in the microtube but you risk damaging your vacuum cleaner. The holes are moderately adjustable to increase or decrease suction, but they don't close completely, again to protect your vacuum. On the second point, "poor suction", all I can say is that I feel like people have unrealistic expectations for the performance of the microtips, especially with such a small inner diameter (ID). This system is not designed to clean your home, vacuum pet food, or remove any large objects that you are trying to vacuum with it. It is designed for dust, fine dirt and small parts. Change your expectations before you criticize. In my experience with this product so far, even with the vents wide open, I've gotten more than enough suction to lift a few items off my desk, including the Fitbit Sense, which weighs about 1.6 ounces (including video) to nothing say about the dust in my computer. No Instructions: I don't even know what to say about that. This is clearly self-explanatory and the printed instructions would be redundant and bordering on an irresponsible waste of paper that could just be thrown away. REMARKS Yes it could be better but for the price it is more than reasonable if buyers have the right expectations. and use the device as intended. Change it at your own risk, just don't blame the product if your vacuum melts.
